How Can We Bake Muffins at Home?

Ingredients:

  • 250 g flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 120 ml milk
  • 120 ml vegetable oil (or melted butter)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 150 g chocolate (or fruits, nuts, depending on preferences)
  • Aluminum molds for muffins

Instructions:

  • In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add the milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well! Pour this mixture over the previous mixture.
  • Mix everything until you get a smooth batter.
  • If you want to add chocolate chips, fruits, or nuts, now is the time.
  • Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180°C and prepare the aluminum muffin molds.
  • Divide the batter evenly into the aluminum molds, filling them up to about 2/3 of their capacity to allow the muffins to rise during baking.
  • Place the molds in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes (or you can use the toothpick test – when the toothpick inserted in the middle of the muffin comes out clean, the muffins are ready).
  • Remove the muffins from the oven and let them cool in the molds for at least 5 minutes.

Tip: For a variation of the recipe, you can add different flavors or ingredients (such as cinnamon, canned sour cherries, or even vegetables for a savory version).
